Being characterized by a dysfunction in the prefrontal cortex, ADHD has as constitution of its symptoms impulsivity, inattention disorders, impaired control of emotions, difficulty planning, elaboration of strategies and hyperactivity, with hyperkinesis. According to ARRUDA (2019), 912 thousand Brazilian children aged 5 to 12 years, have ADHD, an estimated percentage of 3.3% of the child population, as presented by IBGE.
