The second novel of the Sommersett series finds Ashlyn and Lorien's relationship now smoulders and burns with a new-found intensity, having shared their complete selves with each other. Their plans of forming a band finally takes hold, enlisting Elijah on bass guitar and the newest recruit, Matty, on drums.
