Siempre he pensado que el hecho de cantar era un exponente bastante indicativo del nivel de comunicación de una sociedad. Me explico: a mí, me entra una envidia terrible cuando voy a Grecia o al País Basco y me encuentro con aquellas tabernas llenas de gente de todas las edades que se pone a cantar y puede estar horas y horas cantando '¡y bailando!', sin miedo a expresar sus sentimientos: canta, baila, se ríe, llora' Nuestra sociedad catalana actual cada vez canta menos. Y me entristece. Por eso, cuando veo que alguien se esfuerza en ofrecer un material de canciones para que la gente las cante, con unas reflexiones previas sobre las bases de la canción y ofreciendo unas técnicas para hacer más fácil la cantada, 'cuando veo todo esto' se me expande el corazón.
