BELLA & GINGER: a CAT'S TALE is a story about the antics of two adopted shelter cats, in full color photos taken by the author, narrated by the cats themselves. Bella is the "Alpha" cat, a Maine Coon mix, who was adopted first. Maine Coons are calm and gentle by nature, and have distinct features. She had Mama all to herself for some time. Then Ginger, a redhead Domestic Longhair, was adopted as a second companion cat. Bella resents the newcomer to the family at first, but eventually realizes that Ginger isn't going away. As time rolls along, Bella begins to get accustomed to her younger, but annoying sister. Ginger, more energetic and playful, follows her older sister everywhere and fighting constantly ensues. Eventually, they wind up sleeping together, eating together, and sharing sweet moments together - as loving siblings do - just like humans. Sometimes, the photos of their antics are absolutely hilarious but, at the end of the day, it's the sweet moments that warm the heart.
