Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide. In recent years, the incidence of colorectal cancer in China has shown an increasing trend. If early lesions can be detected and treated promptly through opportunistic screening for colorectal cancer, the occurrence of carcinogenesis can be prevented. Colonoscopy is currently the preferred method for colorectal cancer screening. However, poor patient compliance with colonoscopy screening not only limits the implementation of opportunistic screening but also affects the detection rate of early-stage colorectal cancer.

Single-operator colonoscopy is a relatively difficult technique to master. The skill level of the endoscopist depends on their proficiency and dexterity in operating the instruments. Improper operation not only causes discomfort to the examinee but can also lead to serious complications. As a result, some high-risk populations repeatedly refuse colonoscopic examination, thereby delaying diagnosis and treatment.
