In dieser Studie werden die Einstiege deutscher und finnischer linguistischer Zeitschriftenartikel aus den Zeitschriften Virittäjä und Beiträge zur Geschichte der deutschen Sprache und Literatur kontrastiv und diachron (1897-2003) untersucht. Struktur und Wandel der thematischen Einstiege werden mittels einer speziell entwickelten Methodologie - basierend auf einer Modifikation von Fredrickson/Swales (1994) - empirisch analysiert. Es erfolgt eine pragmatische Einbettung der jeweiligen Strukturanalysen durch Kapitel zur Fach- und Periodikumsgeschichte sowie zur thematischen Ausrichtung der untersuchten Periodika innerhalb der betrachteten zeitlichen Analyseabschnitte.
