La migración al Software Libre reporta grandes beneficios socio-económicos para el país y su utilización evitan la dependencia de las grandes transnacionales y monopolios del software siendo este un tema importante para la informatización de la sociedad cubana, por lo que se propone como objetivo un conjunto de actividades de capacitación sobre el uso del Sistema Operativo Linux y sus aplicaciones para evitar el rechazo al cambio. Para desarrollar la investigación se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico: el histórico-lógico, hipotético-deductivo y analítico-sintético, del nivel empírico: la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta y el análisis de documentos y del nivel estadístico matemático: el cálculo porcentual y la estadística descriptiva. Para la investigación se tomó una población de 53 trabajadores para el 100% de forma intencional. La propuesta de la estrategia diseńada para su posterior implementación evitará el rechazo al cambio tecnológico en la muestra.
