Eurasian Frontier

The collective monograph presents the general idea of Eurasian form of being and the so-called Eurasian model of thinking. The authors analyze the philosophical, cultural, linguistic and literary world picture. The Republic of Buryatia, one of national regions of Russia, is located by Lake Baikal and can be considered as a territory of Eurasian frontier. It is the true example of collaboration and the evidence of the Eurasian intellectual and cultural exchange. As a true crossroads, Buryatia plays an integral role in the developing field of borderland studies and economic cooperation, as well as restoration of traditional links. One of the book's parts is devoted to philosophical research and dialectic approaches to the dialogue of civilizations. The articles of the second part analyze Eurasian frontier's languages and imaginative writing. Eurasian life modeling reflects the idea that each country or nation is able to develop its language, literature, folklore, art, science and preserve its sense of ethnic and national identity in a global age
