Forerunner

The pure heart of a forerunner is to do something for Jesus. To take new territory for His Kingdom. Forerunners get provoked when the enemy boasts about land that he possesses, about minds he has captured, about cultures he rules. It takes a forerunner consumed by who God says they are to confront the enemies of those cultures. The forerunner always emerges in the battle, never in the palace. The forerunner emerges amongst scorn, not praise. The forerunner emerges amongst injustice, not abundance and blessing. The forerunner emerges when bondage is present, when impossibility intimidates people. Forerunners emerge to deal with bullies.
