鬼谷子，本名王诩，又名王禅，道号玄微子，史称东周卫国人，培养了苏秦、张仪等多位精英。因隐居鬼谷，故自称鬼谷先生。《东周列国志》评价鬼谷子："通天彻地，有几家学问，人不能及"。

Guiguzi, originally named Wang Xu (also known as Wang Chan or Daoist title Xuanweizi), was a figure from the Eastern Zhou state of Wei. He mentored elites like Su Qin and Zhang Yi. Residing in seclusion at Ghost Valley, he adopted the name ""Master Guigu."" Records of the States of the Eastern Zhou praised him as a ""polymath of cosmic and earthly wisdom, unmatched in knowledge.""
