Delia Forrest always has a plan. Whether it's developing marketing campaigns for clients or grabbing drinks with friends at her favorite bar in Boston, she plots her days down to the minute in a color-coded organizer.

Everything changes when Delia and her sisters inherit their grandmother's house.

Delia is forced to travel to the small coastal town of Seaview, where she finds the place in desperate need of a facelift. An unfortunate encounter with an obnoxious neighbor leaves Delia determined to fix up her grandmother's dumpster of a house and get back to her orderly life as soon as possible.

Except that neighbor, Tanner Ryan, owns a construction company. And when he offers to renovate the house free of charge, Delia can't afford to refuse.

Tanner is gruff and annoying, and he pushes Delia's buttons. But as she spends more time around him, she realizes he isn't so bad. He may like pushing her buttons, but she likes pushing his back.

Of course, it's not like anything can happen with Tanner. They're too different. Besides, Delia's not sticking around Seaview. If everything goes according to plan, she should be out of town by summer.

But plans change. And sometimes, the best things are the ones you least expect.
