The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is a scientific agencywithin the United States Department of Commerce focused on the conditions of theoceans and the atmosphere. The annual issue contains monthly andannual averages of temperature, precipitation amounts, temperature extremes,freeze data, soil temperatures, evaporation, and a recap of monthly cooling degreedays.
