Well, okay. Here's the background. Let's just say shots were consumed and shots fired. A lady later finds herself in a psychiatry office revealing information regarding a secret lifestyle, but too much is still entrapped in amnesia or merely unknown.

What she does recall seems to resemble a delusional break with reality. Clinically, it is believed the root cause was a bad relationship and substance abuse problems leading to paranoid schizophrenia...or the other way around.

So, when a group of highly influential people are standing over a body covered in bruises and left for dead, the real and surreal become more blurred. Only, the victim is not dead...bringing forth fantastic tales of a missing spouse, cults, ritual murders, and a plot to take over the world.

Her own mental and emotional resources failing, the victim turns to the one colleague she knows has dealt with Deep State conspiracies, Deep Church intrigues, global criminal enterprises, the other worldly, and the macabre. She comes to this man seeking knowledge and his help in pursuing her former captors and exacting revenge.
