Necessity - Book 2 continues the story of an ordinary man who was finally given more than survival, and of the people who decide, one by one, whether that man is worth the risk of staying. It is a story of free will tested against hunger, of bonds offered rather than taken, and of the quiet strength required to hold power without letting it hollow the heart that first called it into being.
