The network has grown from the shadows. Far from futuristic facilities, Manuel operates within everyday reality, multiplying his consciousness into empty organic chassis: irreversible coma patients and neonates viable for a cortical reboot. His objective is clear: to influence medicine to extend human life to a hundred and fifty years, while maintaining absolute secrecy.

But the original hardware is failing.

The mechanic's fifty-five-year-old body is rapidly deteriorating. His arteries cannot withstand the simultaneous processing volume required to keep a decentralized mind synchronized. His biological clock enters a countdown under the immense cognitive load.

Facing an imminent physical collapse, Manuel must transfer his primary node to a new host. The problem is purely logistical: the migration requires direct physical contact via epidermal cellular synthesis. His heart can barely withstand the strain, and the execution window is critical.

If his original body gives out before completing the link, the core consciousness will vanish forever. If he survives the jump, there will be no turning back.
