Johann Puchs erste Fabrikationsstätte stand an der Strauchergasse in Graz. Später, im größeren »Einser-Werk« auch Motorräder und Autos. Wie so vielerorts in den 20er und 30er Jahren fusionierte die Austro-Daimler- Puchwerke AG 1934 mit der Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG. Nach der Umfunktionierung zur Rüstungsproduktion im Zweiten Weltkrieg folgten nach dessen Ende wieder friedliche Fahrzeuge. Nach fast 100 Jahren Produktionsgeschichte gingen die Markenrechte an Piaggio, das bis zur Jahrtausendwende Fahrräder und Mopeds mit dem Puch-Logo produzierte. Frank Rönicke setzt Puch mit diesem Prachtband ein historisches Denkmal.
