Chef Patrick Mitchell CEC, AAC, HOF, FWMCS graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 1981. He is an accomplished chef wo has won more than 60 medals in local, regional, national, and international competitions. After representing the USA in the Global Chef Competition in 2018, his fortieth year of competition, he decided to step down from competing and has focused on mentoring, coaching, and judging.
Chef Mitchell has been inducted into the honor society of the American Culinary Federation known as the American Academy of Chefs and was awarded the Chairmans Medallion by the National Chair of the AAC and the Chefs Good Taste Award. He was recognized with the Chef Professionalism Award and the Hermann Rusch Lifetime achievement award, both for the central region of the United States. Most recently Chef Mitchell was inducted into the Texas Chefs Association Haof Fame, the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque and the National Hall of Fame through the American Academy of Chefs.
