Renata

A haunting historical fantasy of ancient secrets, supernatural mystery, romance, and a hidden world beneath the sea.

What if an ancient secret had survived for centuries-and Renata was never meant to discover it?

Drawn into a mystery surrounding an ancient, secretive order, Renata begins uncovering a hidden history that spans centuries. At the center of the mystery are the Medusae-the collective jellyfish-and nine mysterious Medusines connected to sacred figurines and the secretive Order of the Medusae.

`As Renata follows a trail of clues, legends, and forgotten histories, the boundary between myth and reality begins to disappear. A shadowy priestess, mysterious artifacts, ancient secrets, and the extraordinary immortal jellyfish Turritopsis dohrnii become pieces of a puzzle that has waited generations to be solved.

Woven throughout Renata's journey are real historical events and figures, including eighteenth-century New England, devastating coastal storms, and the legendary pirate Samuel Bellamy and his doomed ship, the Whydah. History and fiction intertwine as the past reveals secrets that may still be alive.

But discovering the truth comes with a price.

The deeper Renata delves into the mystery, the more she realizes she may not simply be uncovering the Order's history. She may be connected to it in ways she could never have imagined.
