Shelter From The Storm

The second in the Terry Eckhart detective series takes off where A Simple Twist of Fate left off. Terry Eckhart and his partner, Nick Fowler are still trying to solve the murders at 22nd Avenue when another body shows up at the Sutro Baths ruins at Ocean Beach.

In the late 1970s, a couple once involved in the radical group the Weather Underground pulled off a daring armored car heist in upstate New York. During the robbery, two guards and a local policeman were killed. The couple escaped with millions and vanished into hiding in San Francisco.

Fifty years later, a small box containing seemingly unrelated items may hold the key to uncovering the long-lost fortune. San Francisco Detective Terry Eckhart, alongside Assistant District Attorney Ally Wilder, delves into the mystery, racing to uncover the truth before more dangerous individuals beat them to it. When Ally's life is threatened, the stakes skyrocket, and Eckhart's pursuit becomes a race against time.

Shelter From The Storm follows Detective Eckhart and his partner, Nick Fowler, as they carefully piece together the puzzle while protecting Ally. Meanwhile, Eckhart's elusive nemesis, the Shadowy Figure, escalates their deadly game, forcing the grizzled detective to confront the past-and his darkest adversary.
