The Forgotten

Some houses are haunted by the dead. This one is haunted by everything the living tried to forget.

When Eleanor "Ellie" Ward returns to her childhood home after her mother's death, she expects an empty house, painful memories, and a few days spent settling the family estate.

Instead, she finds something waiting for her.

The grandfather clock stops at 2:14. Seventeen steps lead to rooms that should not exist. Family photographs change when nobody is watching. And somewhere behind the walls, a little boy whispers her name.

His name is Owen.

He is Ellie's younger brother.

And somehow, the world has forgotten that he ever existed.

As darkness transforms the familiar rooms into something nightmarish, Ellie uncovers disturbing journals, impossible floor plans, and a family secret buried beneath years of silence.

But the deeper she searches, the more her own memories begin to disappear.

The house doesn't merely remember the past.

It decides which parts of the past are allowed to exist.

And it will not surrender what it has taken without demanding something in return.

THE FORGOTTEN: THE HOUSE THAT REMEMBERS is an illustrated psychological horror novel about grief, guilt, childhood trauma, and the terrifying price of remembering.
