WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU ANSWER THE SUMMONS?
In The Summons, the call was to come closer. But proximity was never the destination. God draws us near because there are things within His heart that can only be entrusted to those who have learned to remain near Him.
The Summons II: Entrusted With His Heart continues the journey from proximity into trust.
There is a difference between hearing God's heart and being trusted to carry it.
Abraham stood before the Lord for a city. Moses carried a nation before God. The prophets bore words that were often heavier than they were celebrated. Jesus looked upon people and was moved with compassion. Throughout Scripture, those who came near to God discovered that intimacy eventually carries weight.
The question is no longer simply, "Can you hear Me?"
Now the question becomes:
"Can I trust you with what you hear?"
This second volume explores the sacred responsibility of carrying the heart of God without possessing it, manipulating it, publicizing it, or confusing His burden with our own emotions. It examines the formation required when God entrusts a believer with His compassion, His concerns, His purposes, and the people for whom He calls us to stand.
This is not about acquiring a spiritual title.
It is about becoming trustworthy.
Because revelation carries responsibility. Proximity creates accountability. And when God allows you to feel something that originates in His own heart, the burden itself becomes evidence of trust.
The trilogy is moving somewhere.
The first summons was:
Come closer.
The second is:
Carry My heart.
And eventually, there will come another:
Take your place.
Before the watchman can be trusted upon the wall, the intercessor must first learn to carry the heart of the King.
You heard the summons.
You came closer.
Now-can He trust you with His heart?
