L'"album Horne" raccoglie in tutto 48 disegni di Giambattista Tiepolo (1696-1770), perlopiů riconducibili al quarto o quinto decennio del Settecento. Si tratta di figurazioni allegoriche e mitologiche, scene ispirate alla storia antica e scherzi di fantasia, quasi tutte opere a inchiostro steso dall'artista su tracce a matita nera con pennellate fluide e di diversa concentrazione, cosě da ottenere mirabili effetti chiaroscurali. La pubblicazione riproduce una selezione di 26 disegni, gli stessi esposti al Museo Horne di Firenze dall'8 novembre 2016 al 19 febbraio 2017, ripercorrendo poi le tappe del delicato intervento di restauro a cui l'intero album č stato sottoposto.
