Not every whisper is a warning to run from.

Deep on an old, hand-drawn map, one word is scrawled beside a mountain: ECHOES.

Nobody ever explained what it meant. Tim and Jay are determined to find out.

Best friends Tim (bold, quick to leap) and Jay (careful, always three steps ahead) follow the word straight into a cave that shouldn't be able to talk back - and yet something inside keeps answering, low and hollow, never quite from the direction they expect. When a rockfall seals off the only way they came, the two friends have to press deeper into the dark, where the tunnels curl instead of running straight. What they discover isn't a monster. It's a warning - and nobody has ever stayed long enough to listen to it.

Now, with the mountain groaning above them and time running out, Tim and Jay will need more than a good plan and a fast set of paws. They'll need to trust each other with everything they've got.

"Together?" Jay asked, already reaching for the rope.
