Die von Esther Himmen in Deutschland erstmalig quantitativ durchgeführte, theoriebasierte Studie unter 146 Führungskräften zeigt, dass dieses Arbeitsmodell für Frauen und Männer von großem Interesse ist. Insgesamt spiegelt die nicht repräsentative Umfrage eine klare Offenheit der befragten Führungskräfte gegenüber Topsharing wider. Da die Job-Partner hohe soziale Kompetenzen benötigen, wird auch untersucht, inwiefern die Persönlichkeit das Interesse von Führungskräften an Topsharing beeinflusst.
