In der logopädischen / sprachtherapeutischen Praxis gibt es viele Klienten, bei denen eine Beeinträchtigung des Sprachverständnisses vermutet wird. Mit dem TROG-D Test zur Überprüfung des Grammatikverständnisses liegt erstmalig ein standardisiertes Material vor, mit dessen Hilfe das Verständnis der morphologisch-syntaktischen Strukturen, die für das Deutsche bedeutsam sind, sowohl quantitativ als auch qualitativ untersucht und eingeschätzt werden kann. Das Diagnostikverfahren wurde für Kinder im Alter von 3;0-10;11 standardisiert, kann aber auch in der Diagnostik von Erwachsenen, bei denen z.B. eine Aphasie oder eine Hörstörung vorliegt, zum Einsatz kommen.
