Truth Trompers: Bible Discovery Lessons for Active Trompers

Truth Trompers is a full-year Bible curriculum designed specifically for active preschoolers ages 2-4. With 50 weekly lessons plus special Thanksgiving and Christmas lessons, it helps young children do more than simply hear Bible stories-it begins teaching them how to discover biblical truth for themselves.

Each lesson centers on a simple, memorable Main Idea and a passage from Proverbs, then connects that truth to a Bible story and the Gospel. Children learn to explore Scripture through five foundational questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why?

Designed with the attention span and energy of preschoolers in mind, lessons use movement, play, conversation, games, hands-on activities, coloring, Bible storytelling, prayer, and worship. Rather than expecting young children to sit through a long lesson, Truth Trompers keeps them moving and repeatedly reinforces biblical truth in age-appropriate ways.

Lessons are flexible enough to work in approximately 45-80 minutes, making the curriculum useful for Sunday school, children's church, midweek programs, Christian preschool settings, or other early-childhood ministries.

Throughout the curriculum, children encounter truths such as:

• God keeps His promises.
• God sees and cares.
• God helps us tell the truth.
• God gives courage to obey.
• God forgives people who turn to Him.
• God is bigger than fear.
• God gives wisdom.
• God is our refuge.
• God gives new life.

Most importantly, Truth Trompers is intentionally Gospel-centered rather than merely behavior-centered. Lessons don't stop with telling children to be good, kind, honest, or wise. They consistently point children toward their need for Jesus, His death and resurrection, forgiveness, and the new life God gives.

Created to help churches take seriously the discipleship of even their youngest members, Truth Trompers gives teachers a structured curriculum without forcing them into a rigid script. The goal is simple: help little learners move, ask questions, explore God's Word, and begin developing a lifelong love for biblical truth.
