VALE vs MERCER

VALE vs MERCER - VOLUME TWO

Sienna Vale and Alex Mercer have spent years knowing exactly how to beat each other.

Now they have to work out what happens when neither of them wants to walk away.

The rivalry is still there. The tackles are still hard, the arguments are still ridiculous, and when Kingsley meets Northbridge, neither woman is remotely interested in going easy on the other.

But away from football, something has changed.

The messages last longer. The silences mean more. The distance between friendship and something else is getting harder to pretend they cannot see.

For Sienna, that is the problem.

Eighteen months ago, she built walls strong enough to make sure nobody would ever have that kind of power over her again. They worked.

Until Alex.

But Alex never tries to tear them down. She simply keeps being Alex - competitive, observant, infuriatingly patient, and there without asking Sienna to become anything before she is ready.

As the season pushes them back together - through football, travel, award nights, friendship and a desire that is becoming impossible to ignore - Sienna has to decide whether protecting herself still means keeping Alex outside.

Because this time, the hardest line Sienna Vale has to cross is not on a football pitch.

It is the one she built around herself.

VALE vs MERCER: Volume Two is the continuation of Sienna Vale and Alex Mercer's slow-burn sapphic sports romance and should be read after Volume One.
