Das Poesiefestival Berlin 2011 holte sechs der innovativsten französischen Autoren nach Berlin: Edith Azam, Arno Calleja, Linda Maria Baros, Albane Gellé, Pascal Poyet, Dorothée Volut. Gemeinsam mit ihren deutschen Dichterkollegen Christian Filips, Marion Poschmann, Ulrike Almut Sandig, Tom Schulz, Uljana Wolf und Judith Zander arbeiten sie paarweise an der Übersetzung ihrer Werke in die andere Sprache, mit Hilfe eines Sprachmittlers und Interlinearübersetzungen. Auf den beiliegenden Cs hören Sie die Dichter ihre Verse selbst lesen.Das Buch erscheint in Koproduktion mit: éditions La passe du vent, Vénissieux bei Lyon. ARTE, SWR 2 und das Deutsch-französische Jugendwerk begleiten das Übersetzungsexperiment.
