ignorance

Ignorance between Arabs and the WestThe science of ignorance is one of the most prominent social, scientific, and cultural phenomena that has characterized the relationship between the West and the Arabs. The basis of ignorance is lying, deception, falsification, and fallacies. This characteristic has accompanied both sides for several centuries and even to this day, despite the change in concepts in the twenty-first century. The ignorance of the Arabs about the West has been reinforced, and the ignorance of the West about the Arabs has been reinforced. Both sides have cooperated to produce a false and distorted image of the other. During the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the elite of both sides enjoyed selling lies about the other. Perhaps what characterizes the twenty-first century is that it is the age of true enlightenment, enlightening the Arabs about the reality of the West, and enlightening the West about the reality of the Arabs. The current opportunities for conflict cannot be avoided without an effective civilizational engagement, and this engagement cannot be built on lies and counter-illusions.
