The book examines journalistic trends in Israel following the January 2011 and June 2013 revolutions. The author analyzes the journalistic frameworks of three newspapers representing three political currents within Israel over a three-month period following each revolution. These newspapers are Israel Hayom, which reflects the Israeli government's perspective at the time; Haaretz, representing the liberal opposition; and Al-Quds, representing the Palestinian Authority. Throughout the book, the author reviews the development of the Israeli press from its inception to the present day, examining the impact of political and military developments on journalistic work since Israel's establishment. The author also dedicates space to the Palestinian press, which has been in a continuous struggle to defend the Palestinian cause and has clashed with the limits of freedom within Israeli democracy throughout its various phases. The author chose to focus on Israeli affairs due to the impact of Israel's presence as a foreign entity in the Middle East, resulting in the wars and problems that the region continues to suffer. Furthermore, the book explores the impact of the Arab Spring revolutions and their influence on Israeli policies, which have threatened the region's stability for an extended period, causing considerable hardship for the Arab citizen. The author also raises thorny issues about which opinions have always differed through the Israeli case, such as the relationship between press freedom and national security, the impact of newspaper ownership patterns on editorial policy, the decline in the power of laws with the development of communication technologies, and the difference in the message framework according to the target audience.
