Leaving Shadow Pass in a cloud of dust was easy. Abby Evans worked her whole life to put the little town in her rearview. It only took two weeks to discover the powerful Evans family runs the valley, they don't trust outsiders, and they are not to be crossed. A natural-born risk taker, he is playing with fire getting close to Abby.

He's a good distraction while putting her life back together and mending fences with her family. But can she risk her damaged, guarded heart for a second chance at love? And how long will it be until she leaves her hometown behind again?

When arson strikes the mountain range, Seth's checkered past is dragged into the open, causing the Evans siblings to close ranks around their vulnerable little sister to protect not only her, but also their beloved mountain range. As Seth's reputation comes under attack, loyalties are tested, boundaries pushed, and not everyone will make it out of Shadow Pass alive.
