Sonny Chiba stars in this double bill of Japanese martial arts action directed by Teruo Ishii. In 'Executioner' (1974) mercenary for hire Ryuichi Koga (Chiba) is tasked with stopping a Tokyo drug dealer, a job with the promise of a big pay day. He is aided by the equally shady Hayabusa (Makoto Sato) and Ichiro Sakura (Eiji Go), with all three men initially suspicious of each other's intentions. However, when they are forced to fight their way through the Japanese underworld together, they realise they make a good team. 'Executioner II - Karate Inferno' (1974) sees Koga and his gang caught up in a job involving a kidnapping, the theft of a priceless diamond and a double cross, leading to them planning a dangerous heist.
