Becoming Human

Although it isn't widely known, humanity's distant ancestors had a very different sort of brain than that which we now possess. Very distinct parts of that ancient brain have been passed down to us by our precursors, however, and they still affect nearly everything that we do.

This is the author's fascinating story of how humans developed this way, and includes his novel theories explaining how our "deep time" history has made us who we have become.

Beginning with the first organisms to emerge over 4 billion years ago, the author explains how our ancient forebears developed many physical and mental structures that remain to this day. Sometimes, seemingly incidental adaptations can be game changers in the game of survival.

Based on established findings in paleontology and numerous other branches of the physical sciences, replete with numerous references, "Becoming Human" will help you better understand the true nature of the human mind.

Written for everyone who desires to better know themselves and their fellow human beings, the author uses as little technical jargon as possible to convey his message. Buckle up for this 4 billion year journey through time!
