Many Hearts

Tears are filling my eyes, threatening to roll down my cheeks...

The crowded boarding gate at the airport is loud with tired, cranky children and old people complaining about travel these days.

As a tear begins to roll down my check, I have two voices in my head.

One is screaming, on the verge of an anxiety attack - how could have it all fallen apart ... AGAIN... AGAIN!!! I got it so wrong.

One is calm and commanding my body not to lose my shit in public, an extremely emotional nearby... well of age that should know better... woman is a red alarm bell for the cabin crew about to put me in a tin can and fly me home.

The pressure is building in my stomach, I'm trying to hold my breath so that I don't explode into the primal gasps that come with ugly crying.
