The book discusses the situation that Egypt was at the Ottoman conquest, and the book knocks on the origin and origins of the Ottoman Empire, and its connection to Egyptian history, as it studies the period of Salim I as the Ottoman Sultan who conquered Egypt. During this book, Zidane was keen to balance the public and private, and in his book linking the general Ottoman era represented by the Islamic caliphate and the Ottoman era in Egypt as one of the historical stages that Egypt''s general history has gone through. The historical study in this book was not limited to the political side, but extended to include social, economic, financial and civilizational aspects.
